I really appreciate stableness (??) of windows 2k but due to uncompatability with several programs I want to reinstall win98 (with possible dual boot win 2k). I am having problems converting hard drive from ntfs to fat32. I have tried Microsoft guide (which is useless). When i get to Win 98 setup it refuses as says is still ntfs. I have used win 2k to reformat boot drive to fat32 but this doesn't seem to work. pls can someone help as it is pissing me off chronic!! (Sorry)

Partition Magic is perfect for this, and can do it without data loss. Cost ya $60 though 
If you don't mind using FDISK and repartitioning, first remove the NTFS partition. Reboot. Then create your partition, reboot, reformat, and reinstall.
