I have a driver installed for a Lexmark X73 printer. Problems is, the driver is causing my Terminal Server to lock up. I would like to uninstall the driver, but it is not available in the Add/Remove Programs and there is no unintall script available.

What can I do?

Go to Start -> Setting -> Printers, and delete the printer icon for it. You should be asked if you want to delete the driver as well, and you click yes.

I have deleted it from the printer folders. It still appears as a driver option for my other printers. I think that this might take some sort of registry hack. It just won't go away.

Okay... let's try from the top:
1. How do you know this driver is the cause of your problems? (i.e. have you read this on the supporting web site, or heard from a tech support engineer?)
2. Have you checked to see if there is a Terminal Server specific driver available?
3. If you right click on a printer in STart -> Settings -> Printers, and go to Properties, there should be a Ports tab. Is the printer listed in the available ports?
4. If you are running W2K TS, and when you isntalled the printer, did you select List in Directory? If so it may still be showing up there.

Just some ideas to think about...

Will
