UNICOWS.DLL???

When I try to run messenger 6.1 i get a error saying "couldnt find unicows.dll"

WTF i that?!

It is the unicode layer for Windows 9x/ME.
You should not see this error under XP, as the unicows is integrated and not .dll dependent.

There are three releases of the 6.1, and I think you downloaded the wrong one.
