Hi
I am desperately trying to find an error in an database. I get the following error:
unhandled database exception
data truncated
ODBC retcode: 1021

Is this giving any clue to what might be wrong?

give us more details !!

I suppose you are connecting to a ODBC datasource.
Are you using VBA code or are the ODBC tables linked in the tables TAB?

When does the error come up?? as soon as the database opens or when you open a form?? or table??

I am using a program called dims. This program is for entering data into a database that stores info regarding oilwells that has been or is being drilled, and the error occurs when trying to open up a 'costs' tab on a specific report. The program can't open this tab for two specific dates (today and yesterday), for one specific well. All other dates are ok, and so are this tab on all other wells. The program connects to an oracle database on a server (maybe I'm on the wrong forum?), but can also connect to access databases locally.
All data from this 'costs'-tab are stored in one table called Daycost. I would assume that this error comes up as a result of trying to connect to this spesific table.
I hope this was enlightening because I'm not sure if I'm able to explain it any better...
