Another question (gotta love people who say "by the way, I need this by tomorrow")

I created a bunch some "Yes / No" option buttons, and I grouped them so that if the "Yes" is selected, "No" can't be selected at the same time (duh).

The problem is that they seem to have linked themselves to some other, unrelated option buttons nearby - so I can only have one of the four selected.

How does Excel manage this? How can I fix it?

thanks again =)

Use frame controls to control the option buttons - you can only select 1 option button within each frame but each frame is exclusive - should suit your needs Rgds

Ok - this is gonna depend on the toolbox you are using
1: Forms Toolbar
Select the frame object
Drop it on the sheet
move the option buttons inside the frame

2: Controls Toolbox
This is slightly different. Each optionbutton has a property called "Groupname"
Go into design mode (little blue setsquare) and right click on the option button. Choose Properties
Goto the Groupname property and for each pairing, give it the same groupname ie opt1Y Groupname = 1
opt1N Groupname = 1
opt2Y Groupname = 2
opt2N Groupname = 2

etc etc
