Understanding NTP

Can someone please provide me with some guidance, or general information at least?

We have a network of Window XP's and 98SE's. I don't know much about Network time Protocol but would like to know if that's the product/service we need if we want all PC's to be in time synchronization.

Is this possible with such a network make-up? What else do I need to know? What products are out there? Which one do you recommend? Obvioulsy I would like the least cost solution.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure what you should do with your 98se machines (except maybe upgrade them)
