I am trying to make a XP Pro CD, that is unattended, and with the SP1 built in. I have visited and tryed several times these sites.
and others, but none of them seem to work.
I have gotten it to at least boot the setup when the cd is inserted, but then it says |
Please insert the disk labeled
Windows XP Professional CD-Rom
into Drive A:
press ENTER when ready.
|
which is bad cause I don't even have a A drive :). but I believe it refers to the CD rom drive.
PLEASE HELP !!!!
thanks

You have listed some excellent sites for advice about creating an unattended installation disk, but neither site is willing to offer advice about creating an illegal boot image of XP.

You can find this, but not at either of the sites you mentioned, and not here.

who said anything about an illegal image of XP?
I have purchased an windows XP Pro cd from my college for 6$, we have a computer networking system's class that is signed with microsoft.
thanks though.
Any way I got it to work, I had to edit the .bat file.
