Hi Guys,
We have a S8300 V5. We have an ISDN line with 100 DDI /DID numbers. At present we only have 25 users. We also have an attendant.
If we call a DDI / DID that has no user assigned, the call will go to the attendand. Is there any way of easily pointing non assigned numbers to a VDN or station so that we can play a message etc?

Thanks in advance.

Here is where that is changed

Code:
change system-parameters features Page 1 of 19

You could also use UDP "uniform dial plan" for assigning and routing numbers or blocks of numbers.
This is used in conjunction with AAR analysis. You can route calls to any switch on your network of switches using route patterns to trunk-groups.

On the screen shot that Brett gave you,

FEATURE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS

You could record an announcement and put that extension in the DID/Tie/ISDN Intercept Treatment:XXXX

You will need an announcement pack in your system for this.
