I have a user who is no longer able to view his Outlooks contacts. My server is win 2000 and I am on exchange 2000.
I have tried to access them from another client, different versions of outlook etc. I think what started the problem is that he has a palm pilot that he sync's with outlook. Somehow he has managed to screwup his default view in the mailbox on the server to include several columns labeled categories. anytime I try to access his contacts, it crashes outlook.
I have been able to extract his contacts using the "exmerge" util, but I would rather not have to setup a new mailbox to resolve this issue.
Does anyone know of a way to "repair" the default outlook views?
