Unable to upgrade LDK300

Hi All

Ive tried to upgrade a LDK300 both via serial and tcp/ip both seem to get to 99 retrys and then fails.
any ideas

current firmware is
UK-80P-B.0Cj Dec02

trying to update using bin
82P-30Ds

Please check your firmware again with [Trans/Pgm + 72].
If you are using UK-80P-B.0Cj Dec02 this does not sound like LDK-300.
It should be XX-30P-xx.xx xxxyy.
And your hardaware is maybe not compatible with the new s/w.
82 sounds to me to be a hotel s/w.

Your current version is 2.0 (B.0 Cj)

Check the name of the processorboard (MBU) and post the name and version here. Also daughter boards (piggy back).

Hi

80p is LDK300 Hotel.

Cant find software on 82p. Can you double check its definitely 82p your trying to upload? What are do you think your upgrading from and to? Your currently on hotel version 2 for LDK300. Are you trying to upgrade to the latest version or changing it to office software? Or are you swapping the MPB for the LDK300E?

Yes. You need to state what MPB and ASMU/PMU you have installed.
I guess that your problems relate to lack of hardware compability.

ah yes dont know exact mpb type nothing been changed since original install circa 2002

main board just says LDK-300 MPB
it has a pmu,modu and sdmu32 and thats it

Ok

First ping the system as earlier systems didnt have the ip address in as default. Then log onto the system using the ldk admin 2.2 tool and once connected, disconnect then use the upgrade tool to upgrade to 80p 3.6 only. Dont go above 3.6 as the mpb will not take 3.7 above. I did an office one 2 weeks ago on 2.0 and couldnt upgrade so used admin tool 2.2 and it worked. Also had to swap the smdu32 card as it was faulty.

Have now installed Admin Ver 2.0Ba or have i just gone backwards ?

If the system has no password set, set a password and retry the upgrade. Ive found some software versions very particular about firmware and database UP/Down with no password set.

Password isnt the problem
it just fails

i am now suspicious of the firmware im trying to use now
as the other site i know has the same system is running 80p-30Ds
and i dont have that version or 3.6 either

Does anyone know where i can download it ?
