Unable to reset Directory/Log Password on M3903 set

I have used the "CPWD" command in LD 32 to clear the password, but it still asks for a password on the set when I press the "Director/Log" key. Anyone have a clue?

After reset try using PWD 12345678 then turn PWD off

I have already tried that, but thanks for your feedback. I ended up replacing the set, it wouldn't accept a "fdlf" forced download command in load 32.
