unable to refresh in InfoView

Hello,

We use BO 6.5.1 full client and InfoView. I have created a new universe and build in full client a new report connected to this new universe. It works fine.

When I go to InfoView I can open the report, but when I want to refresh it I get the following error:

IDispatch error #109 Verbindings- of SQL-syntaxisfout: (DA0005): [Exception: DBD, [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specifiedState: IM002] the following dataproviders are not refreshed well: Query 1 m

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Looks like you have not built the ODBC DSN (System DSN) that matches what you have EXACTLY on your client.

Thanks for your quick reply. I have created a system dsn and test the data source and it was successfully. So where does it go wrong? Maybe the connection from webi to the data source?

Can you help any further?

The DSN name must MATCH exactly with how it is defined in the connection string. My guess is that it isn't exactly the same.
