Unable to load NWAgent(CA Brightstor Netware Agent)

Hi,

My Netware is 5.1 SP8. Restarting the Server today failed to load nwagent. The error message is as follows:

BOOT$LOG.ERR was deleted at startup and a new file was created.

Does anyone have any idea on how to resolve it? I am trying to get Nwagent to load on startup.

What else are you running on this server?

I'm assuming this is a production server so testing is going to be limited. However, I would print a copy of the autoexec.ncf. Then go through the autoexec.ncf file and comment out all the user services....GroupWise, ZENworks, Web services, NDPS, DNS/DHCP, ARCserve, etc. Then restart the server and load them manually from your copy of the autoexec. Give each service time to completely start before loading the next. This way you can see if you are getting any errors before nwagent loads.

Don't forget to go back to the autoexec.ncf and remove your comment marks so the server can load normally again.
