Hello,

I have several Netware 5.1 servers and I try to backup them from a Windows
2000 with BE 8.6. I have installed the Remote Agent for Netware and OFO from
BE for Netware 8.5. When I try to take backup i recive the following message:
"Unable to initialize Remote Agent for Windows NT/2000 - performing standard
backup" and if I rename the license.OFO to samething else and try to backup
I recive "Performing Remote Agent" and the backup jobs goes 100% OK.

I have this on all my 5.1 servers.

Anybody have an idea on wath version of ALL the files i need????
URGENT

Thanks

Hi,

I have 2 netware 5.1 servers with exactly the same error. It works fine if i remove the -to fron the bestart.ncf. But in this case, open files will not be backup as ofo is not started.
Need to check with u: Does the OFO unable to initialize error exists in all the volumes of the netware server? If it only fails in one of the volumes, what is the volume size and data size? Both my netware servers, with ofo error, are having large volume size of 50GB and 65GB. The rest of the netware servers have small volumes and thus backup fine.

Thanks,

Wits end

Yes, some servers with small volumes apperas to be stabil, but all the lagre volumes like 100-150GB then it crashes.

I have not been able to get some good answare from Veritas, and begining to be very #¤%¤¤?¤%#=#¤?
