Unable to hear audio

We had to shutdown the logger over the weekend and when I brought it back up, I'm unable to hear any of the audio. Has anyone experience this? I've busied and release the extensions assigned to the R.A.P. units and still have this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you elaborate on the problem? Specifically:
1. If you play over LAN, do you hear the audio? If not, then it is not being recorded. If you are using a D/A converter, check your D/A converter to make sure it is working.

2. Is it just one extension or all of them that aren't working? Has someone swapped the cabling around and possibly did not wire it back up properly? I would try playing back a call, and one by one, calling each one of the output extensions to see if I hear the audio on any of the other extensions. Make sure no-one else is using the system at this time to play back calls so you don't confuse the call you are playing back with another.

3. Is the logger running? Can you connect and run a channel query from the applications?

In regards to the cabling, does it matter which port the numbers reside on? I have extensions 7109-7112 designated for the R.A.P. units. We did have to move some things around this weekend, but everything is connected the way it should be. I had an issue with our audix and the ports that the analogs were plugged into and that has since been resolved. I'm just wondering if it matters on which modular jack the phone cords are plugged into.

Yes - the ports are assigned in the output bus definition in Administrator. You should see which port # is assigned to what extension.

Assuming everything is labelled somewhere, you should try match up the port # with the extensions on the RAP units.

Port #1 will be the left most LAF card (looking from the rear of the logger), with the top slot being #1, port #2 being the one directly below it. Depending if you have LEO's, the left LEO will be #5 and #6, and the top slot on the 2nd LAF (directly to the right of the first LAF card) will be #7, #8 and so on, with the right side LEO being #11, and #12.

If you are using a shared output bus, make sure all the port #1's go to Group 1, and Out1 goes to the RAP unit associated with extension #1, and so on.

Yes, I changed the one modular cord and i'm now able to hear the recordings through the rap unit. It's amazing how tempermental these devices are. Thanks for all your help.
