Hi,
I am running ARCServe 2000 on two servers, each on Windows 2000.
On the one, when I need to restore by tree, I have no problems. On the other, although it shows the local drive from which the data was backed up, it wont let me navigate in to find the files/folders I need. This, even on the previous nights backup.
Left pane shows the drive, right pane states "There are no items to display in this view". The additional information pane however confirms 116,334 files were backed up. The + sign to the left, disappears when clicked.

Checked all the settings I could and it seems both machines are set up the same. Unfortunately this is a system I have recently inherited so more than a little confused.

Any help/advice appreciated

sounds like a corrupt database.
quick fix is to initialize and then merge,
or you can run the utilities to repair.
