unable to download gal for offline folder use

I created the offline folder test.ost. I use outlook 97. I then connect to the exchange server 5.5 and I select tools, synch, all folders with no problems. But when I select tools, synch, download address book, I get:

MS Exchange:
An error occurred while opening the Microsoft Exchange offline address book files on the Microsoft Exchange Server. See you administrator.

Then,
MS Exchange:
Unable to download the offline address book. The Microsoft Exchange Address Book could not be accessed.

Any ideas? Everything looks ok on the the server, so I am stumped.

Problem resolved.

MS Queue Article Q243155

Under DS Site Configuration, tab to Offline Address Book and place checkmark in MS Exchange 4.0 and 5.0 compability.
