We have two exchange 5.5 servers running for two sites but under the same organization. Our problem is that several mailboxes were deleted from site A either while a Directory replication was taking place or the replication failed. I now have these mailboxes listed in the global address list and when viewing the recipents container of site A from site B the mailbooxes still appear although if viewing recipients container of site A from Site A they do not appear. I am unable to delete these mailboxes because they were created by site A. I have attempted to recreate the mailboxes in site A and perform a directory replication and then delete them but this has failed

Thank you in advance for any solution offered

Did you try to recreate the accounts, make sure the mailboxes are assigned to them. Replicate. Than delete them again. Then replicate again.

-Once again welcome to Microsoft!

Yes i tryed that copying detail for detail but it did not replicate

Run Isinteg in 'check and fix' on the ISpriv to remove the directory entries

Run a FULL Backup first

Chris.
