unable to delete a public folder

For some reason, I am unable to delete a public folder which I created and am the owner of.
Neither throught the admin or through desktop can we get rid of this thing. We can rename just can't delete it.

Says "Some items could not be deleted, they were either moved or already deleted.

I had a similiar problem before and after I restarted the Exchange Server services the public folders disappeared that I had deleted.

Aye the message "Some items could not be deleted, they were either moved or already deleted" would indicate that it has already gone.

Restarting the service/server will clear it down.
