unable to delete a mailbox folder for another user in OL

hello
one of our users (ol2000)
replaced an employee that left the company
so for a short while she needed access to the ex employee's inbox which we setup for het in OL
we later deleted all the ex user's mail account info
however, the mail folder which appears in the new user's foder list - which was set up to access the ex, cannot be deleted from the list
how can i remove it - is it in the registry?
do i need to recreate the new user's profile?

go into the mailbox settings and remove it. tools - services - email accounts - remove or change.... - hightlight the users mailbox and hit change - more settings - advanced tab - click on the ex users mailbox name and click remove - then ok your way out. i did these steps out of memory so i hope they are acurate. but you should be able to navigate from them.

A new Outlook profile will should solve the problem, but the /cleanviews or /resetfolders switches sometimes work. See
