Realizing 95 has no SFC (System File Checker) Utility to use the EXTRACT function with (as 98 does).
You'll need to use either the MSDOS Prompt Box - or Real DOS mode
I can give you the correct command line if I knew the 95 CDROM file /CAB structure (directory).
for ex;
(if D:\ is the CDROM Drive,
and base4.cab is the FIRST cab file alphabetically listed - in whatever Directory all the CAB files are in - such as D:\Win95)
So...Boot to a Dos Command Prompt - C:if no go - use a WIn95 Startup disk and run this similar command from A:\
extract /a /d /c D:\WIN95\BASE4.CAB /L C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM Olepro32.dll
(replace Base4.cab with appropriate CAB file name, if necessary)
this method enables you to Extract WITHOUT having to KNOW which particular CAB folder, the OLE files are in (or any other files you may want to extract).
add (include) the /y switch , into the command string if you want to Overwrite files.
Use EXTRACT /? for info on using switches.
Also - you possibly have CAB files on HDD (which you can search easily, i believe with Cabview.dll - right click -select VIEW) - All the CAB files may be in C:\CABS, or C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS
but here's MS article anyway on Extraction for 95 , 98, and ME
