unable to connect through the switch

Hi all,

I have a 3com 3300 ss over here, and there seems to be a small problem with the device.
I can acces it from a browser, also through the serial port.
The switch is attached over a crosslink to a simple hub and I can ping devices from a telnet session to any device attached to the hub.
If I connect a PC (in this case my laptop) to the switch, I can ping the Switch, and from the switch I can ping my PC.
However from that laptop I can NOT ping the network!

It seems as if the Switch will not allow any traffic through it' s NIC' s.

I flashed a week ago to the latest firmware.
 
Do you have auto-negotiation turned on? Try and set the speed and duplex setting on the port manually.
