Hi,

I've seen a variety of discussions around this topic, but I have run into a situation that I have yet to find a solution for - perhaps someone out there can help.

I have a Nfuse 1.7 classic webserver talking to multiple Metaframe XPe servers running FR2/SP2, with CSG and STA in the mix.

I can use the Nfuse admin GUI to modify the authentication method, ie. Never, Always, or On Expiry, and the GUI modifies the NFUSE.CONF file accordingly.

However, my users still do not get prompted to change their password when it expires, nor do they get the little change password icon for accounts whose passwords are not yet expired. It's as if the NFUSE.CONF file is being ignored.

I would appreciate anyone providing any insight on what I should be looking at to help resolve this issue. Many thanks in advance.

After you make the change within the admin GUI, are you recycling the IIS services?

Hi,

As per the last post either do "iisreset" from a command prompt or reboot the server.

Cheers,
Carl
