I have been trying, without success, to get this update installed so I can continue with the list of service packs needed before applying the Transition Pack. Here's some background on the server:
The server has IntelRex on it, a call recording software. Apparently a vendor had to come on-site for 2 days to get it installed properly. Due to this, they don't want to have to repaved this system. They have another system running Windows 2003 SBS server, which which will be used as their exchange server. The server in question had issues where administrator couldn't even run server management, permissions were set with an unknown SID assigned to the various components, not the "Administrator" user. I had to run a cacls command to add "Administrator" rights to all files on the C: drive. I made sure to "Edit" and not simply replace. (the issue below was happening even before this change was made)
When running KB884032 the log spits out:

The other option was to install KB891191, which takes a lot longer, but aborts as well. (I looked in C:\windows for its log, but didn't see it).
Any ideas? I'm about to repave this box in about 30 mins... This is a last ditch cry for help!
