Using the schema owner of all the tables, I am linking oracle tables and SQL Server tables using Access in order to transfer data. On some of the Oracle tables, when I link them in Access however, I am unable to add a record. All the tables are truncated first, so none of them should have records. Some tables have a line to enter data, and some do not and those have the add new record button disabled. I have checked permissions, and since I am using the Schema owner, I don't think this would be it. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,
Va

I'm not familiar with linking Orace tables, but I have seen this problem when linking to SQL Server tables which do not have a primary key defined. Access needs to uniquely identify each row.
If you manually re-link them, and they don't have a PK then Access will prompt you to select the fields which make up a PK. Select the appropriate fields and see if the problem persists.
