Im using WinXP Pro with sp1. I had some spyware that i needed to get into safe mode to delete them. After I hit F8 it freezes after it lists all the files it is loading.
The search function is down atm so I haven't used it to look for an answer, sorry.

Did you install the recovery console on your computer. If not, pop in your cd and run winnt32 /cmdcons

This will bring you to a "DOS" mode in the windows directory where you can then delete the offending files.

Hope this Helps,
Rad Piver
