The system is Exchange 2000 & Win 98 clients using Outlook 2000.
1. The user in AD was set to change password at next login.
2. The user was unable to change their password from Win 98 no specific error message.
3. Password reset at AD for user and deselect user must change password at next login.
4. User now authenticates to domain but when they attempt to access their email through Outlook they recieve "login credentials incorrect..." & "...must change password..." messages.
5. The Outlook client is configured using Tools / Services / Exchange.
Having deleted a user from AD with this problem the issue now is that after recreating the user (exact name as before)with exchange mailbox - the user is still unable to access their mailbox.
Is there a "how to delete & recreate users mailboxes" document out there?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks In Advance
Martin
