I would Like to install XP Pro without babysitting the computer.Does anyone know how to make a unattend file for xp?

Thanks Razr

You need the retail Windows XP cd.
1. On the windows xp cd: go to \support\tools
2. extract deploy.cab to a folder in your computer
3. use setupmgr.exe to create an answer file
4. rename that file to winnt.sif and copy it to an empty floppy disk
5. you must start setup by booting from cd-rom.
6. set bios to boot from cd-rom first
7. put floppy with winnt.sif in floppy drive and then put winxp cd in cdrom drive and start setup, you souldn't be asked for anything.
