UDT creation in MSDE 1

I am trying to create a user defined data type in MSDE without much luck.

EXEC sp_addtype Vector( xpos int, ypos int)

Any help will be appreciared

You can't do what it looks like you're trying to do. A user-defined data type has to be based on one of the system data types - you can't just make up your own formats, eg have a data type that stores two values like you're trying here.

Look up sp_addtype in BOL for info and syntax.
