Hi All.
I'm trying to bring files from a cdrw to the My Documents section with xp.
Is there any way to convert the udf to work with the xp format? I cannot transfer files because xp cannot read the file type.
This computer is for my mother and I would like to set it up quick. I'm only knowledgable with win98. This xp is a nice os but it is really frustrating with the limits to what I can do at this time.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
Initially, I was opting to reformat the drive but the computer did not come with backup disks so if I attempt to eliminate xp and install win98 and mess up I might be fubared. Im not sure if I can even do this?
I have an hp pavillion bt963
win xp home edition
1.2 ghz processor
128 megs of ram
33.75 gig hd but it reads 24 when no other progs are installed?
It does accept fat but only for the recovery portions?
which read at 4.41 gigs, where's the other 4 gigs that are taken by the puter? The rest of the file system is ntfs. I'm really lost.
These new file systems are a pain. I tried installing a udf reader program but windows disabled it after the reboot :-(
Any help would be great.
Right now C:\format is on my mind right about now
