Just replaced a UCM - IPO 9.1.8.

After completing the install and ignition process I was able to log into this UCM with the Voicemail Pro Client, so I was programming the Call Flows that I wasn't able to do in the defective UCM we replaced.

I had much of the Call Flows complete and was clicking 'Save and Make Live' after each module and all seemed to be going fine, when my tech onsite said that when he dialed *17 he was getting 'Unobtainable' on the phone. The sounded like a password issue. I added the new password for the UCM in Administration > Preferences > General. After this *17 worked, voicemail answered.

So, I logged back in to complete my Call Flows, but now however, every time I select an Action I get a message popup that says 'There was a problem saving the Call Flow' and Save and Make Live does not apply my changes. I have defaulted Security settings and readded the passwords back in and reboot UCM and IPO, no change.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

try this
it may be a corrupted call flow.

To do this you may try to load an empty Call flow : use the VMPro Client import function and navigate to following path and import the file “ EmptyDB.MDB”

C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\DB Backup\EmptyDB.MDB

Try creating a simple new call flow module, save it and then close and re-open the vmpro client to see if you can view the call flow again.

Hopefully this will resolve the issue, and you can create all the required auto attendant call flows again for the customer.

That did it!!

Glad it worked..

I had the same problem.

There's a button on the right that's "great post". I did it this time.

Let me play my playmo please.

Star from me too. Been working on the bugger for years and never spotted that useful way to reset the callflows.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

great hint from snowman, star from me too
I have a saved .mdb to do that for a few years in my dropbox but that is so much easier.
