typeperf - PhysicalDisk "Disk Read Time" Numbers too high ?

Running the following command on my local computer :

typeperf "\PhysicalDisk(1)\% Disk Read Time"

I get counter values much higher then expected max 100% (1200,2456,etc).

Why would it be and what these numbers actualy stand for ?

I don't know what else to suggest having never run those programs myself.

Can you vary the actual output results by testing in a clean environment? Or testing from Safe Mode, if the program runs in that mode?
