Type in Quark 6.0 disappears when moving text boxes

Has anyone experienced the type disappearing while moving a text box over or near another text box. This is very inconvenient when customizing type faces together. I like to move the boxes around and fit types inside letters. I already have the redraw extension. Is there some other update or extension? Thanks for any feedback.

The only time I have seen this happen is when the runaround is set to item. If this is the case go to item>modify and set runaround to none on the text boxes.

In continuation with the disappearing text. I know this is not a runaround problem. This is a WYSIWYG type problem. If you click a text box to grab it, hold it and drag it around to fit words nicely together in individual boxes, this is when the type disappears for a minute. It makes it difficult to judge how close you are to another piece of text. You can refresh the image of text when you change views or click on the text box that has missing pieces of text. I know it is some kind of redraw issue.
