Hi,

We have a cs1k 5.5 network with 3 SMGs and a 1 core site, with each site having their own primary rate trks.
We have recently installed MS exchange on a 2007 server using sip trunking to the server

All switches are running latest deplists etc and ms latest updates.
we r running 30 mg les ccts between sites

When a call comes in from our Switchboard and it has been transferred we always get two toasts pop up. Answering the top toast drops the call.

We had to hack the system to stop showing two toasts on anonymous calls as well by adding a phantom number and getting the system to show that AD entry on those types of calls. Adding the switchboard numbers to AD does not work though in this case.

Also, on missed call alerts the 0 is missing from the number. Anyone know of a fix on that also?

Thanks.

Are you meaning MS OCS rather than MS Exchange?

I have seen this with OCS before. When you see two toasts one is an RCC toast (phone mode - from acquired TN) and one is a VoIP / Computer Mode toast.

Do you see different CLI display in each toast?

Where i have seen this the CLI in each toast was different and that is why 2 were displayed as they display different info e.g. one displayed +44123456789 and other shows 0123456789.

To fix this you need to normalize the CLI string to both be same. Then you should see one toast.

------------

You have missing leading 0 on missed calls? Does this show 0 on screen toast? Do you see leading 0 on your tel sets on?

You may need to add DAPC to your PRI routes. Or if your using DASS you need DASC setting in CDB. Also there is a patch on 5.5 to make DASC work with DASS.

Thanks, yup MS OCS sorry.

Depends, sometimes we see different numbers, other times the same number will be in both toasts.

Normally happens when a call is transferred from out Switchboard.

Where would I normalise the CLI string? Mediation server?

---------------------

This is not shown in the CLI either but does on the IP set.

Thanks for all your help.
