Hi,

I have an entry form with two specific boxes that I am SO stuck on how to do the following:

Combo Box for Contact
Test Box for Phone

I have a two separate Tables one for the complete information on jobs and one with the information for the contact information.

I want to have Access use the Contact Table to populate this info. When I select the Contact I want phone to fill in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have four other databases that I need to use this info on also.

Thank you

Maureen

Hi Maureen...

Do you have any experience with subforms? You could create a form (aka Parent form) with a subform on it (aka child) - set the recordsource of the Parent to your contact table, and set the recordsource of the child to the phone table.

However, for this to work correctly, the phone table and the contact table would have to be related by some sort of key - whether it be an account number, a record id, etc etc.
