How come it is possible that two ldb files are opened when only one mde file is opened???
Please, help to find the truth!
Thanks,
Rona

If the database is split (frontend/backend), you can have two ldb files open, but they should not have the same name. There should be one for the frontend and one for the backend, and they should be in there respective folders (directories).

HTH
RDH
Ricky Hicks
rdhicks@mindspring.com

Rona, close your database, if there is still an .ldb file, it's because your database was closed improperly at one time or another (usually from a computer lockup). it's generally safe to delete the ldb that remains when the database is closed - but if it's the network make sure that no one else has it opened.
Brian Famous
bfamous@ncdoi.net
