TWO Desktop Tweaking Questions

Hello:

QUESTION 1 -
Is it possible (how do I) to move ALL of my desktop ICONS, i.e., "My Computer, Internet Explorer, Recycle Bin, (folder) All Desktop Shortcuts" . . . to the TASKBAR at the bottom of my desktop and have them all appear on the LEFT side of the TASKBAR . . . to the RIGHT side of the START button?

I am only desiring to place FOUR icons on that taskbar, since one icon is a FOLDER which contains all my other shortcuts.


QUESTION 2 -
I moved "Windows Explorer, MS-DOS Prompt, and Control Panel" shortcuts from START - PROGRAMS . . . to the "upper part" of the START button menu (in the section above "Programs, Documents, Settings, Find, Help, Run.&quot

Is it possible (how do I) to remove the shortcut titled "CONTROL PANEL" which is located at START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL?" I just want to have "Printer and Taskbar" leftover there.

I am running WINDOWS 95-b operating system.

Have you got the desktop update (came with IE4) installed? (Enables you to put toolbars on the taskbar an=mong other things).

Try Tweak UI from the 98 CD. It will let you do all kinds of personal modifications. Cliff, MCSE/MCSA 2000

the internet explorer icon can be removed from the settings....tools/internet options/advanced/show ie icon...untick and it will disappear.
My Computer and Recycle bin will have to be removed from the registry...so would advice TweakUI unless somebody can give the EXACT locations for these values in the registry to edit.(on a network pc at moment and cant remember the paths)
control panel options can also be removed by editing the registry but again would suggest TweakUI.
