Okay. Here is my question.
I am about to move into a new apt in NYC, and we have Time-Warner digital cable. Now, my TV is going in the living room, and my brother's is going into his room. Now we're paying time-warner for both TVs, and I want to split the cable and put an input into my computer that will be in my room for random fun and playing around. I have read that there might be problems with decoding the digital signal through a TV tuner card, and I wanted to know if anyone has had an experience with this and knows what works and what doesnt. There is even an old regular cable box that I could use if that's necessary.
