tutorial or example of how to let a database show an image and desc

Hi all,
I have a client that I built a site for and he would now like me to build a page where he can post parts for sale. He wants to be able to upload pictures and descriptions on his own instead of him relying on me to do this.

I was first thinking of using a cms, but I understood that this will be more effective.

I don't have any experience with asp and a little with sql.

I thought maybe there is an example on how to this somewhere? or some insight on how this can be accomplished?

Any advice is much appreciated!
