I know I've seen this at times, and I really need to look into this right now, I have a very simple one form & report database application that I want converted into a self executing .exe file that doesn't require MS Access to be installed on the machine.

Can someone point me in the right direction? A web link, some needed software, anything? I will spend the time to learn how this is done, it is something I really want accomplished.

Okay I see searching around some more, the file stays as a .mdb file, and there's an Access 2000 Runtime program I need to get to do this then I can distribute it with the Access database file, any advice? How can I get a legal copy?

I'll keep searching.

Hi dakota81 - as far as I know, you need to have a MS Office Developers Edition license to legally have the right to distribute the royalty free run-time version of MS-Access. I think its now only available via the entire MS Office Developers Suite (but not entirely sure)
