I have just recently switched over to Office 2003, and one of the new features is about to drive me crazy. When I go to edit data or text, I get a little symbol icon appearing on the document.
Example: I wanted to change the date on an older document, and when I clicked the the point of insertion, an icon with an "i" appeared.
Also when selecting text to drag to another location, I get a paste icon.
The icons themselves would not be an annoyance, if they were not right where I want to work.
Does anyone know how to turn thses icons off? I have looked everywhere in Help to no avail!
