I bought some sapi5 voices from a company called neospeech. These voices sound better (imho) than most I've heard and the price was pretty nice.
I have the license for generic TTS on my IP office which says I can use any third party TTS engines. I have some IVR apps running through VM pro right now and it works well except for the microsoft mary voice. When I change to the new voice (or even any microsoft voice other than Mary) through the control panel on W2K server, it doesn't change the voice in the IVR app. I've rebooted after making the change but it still does not change for VM pro.
Any insight?
