If you have digital or analog sets, TTI is the greatest feature since sliced bread. TTI allows you to key in a sequence at the staion to either disassociate or associate the set to a port address on the PBX. Used for station moves.
Susan “Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
There are features called TTI and PSA that allow users to move phones around. Feature access codes are used to merge and separate stations with ports for TTI. Feature access codes are used to associate and disassociate stations with ports for PSA.
PSA uses security codes and is more secure than TTI.
enabling tti / psa will put dialtone all unassigned wired station ports when turned on. This dialtone is used as explained above. These features can be used to help administrators in that they do not have to program port changes on a bunch of phones.
Great feature for moving departments from one floor to another or one office to another.
A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
