I have 5 windows 2K Pro Workstations, and one 2K Server.

I am currently working them as standalones. I need to setup several accounts on each. (identicle) one admin, on for kids (no internet), one for adults (internet).. but non to be able to do anything to the computer..accept admin... I have seen, Resultant Set of Policy.. but i seem to get it to only work on the admin object. not the others...and cant get the others to work...
I would appreciate any info or any webpage that could step me through it... thx...

'I have seen, Resultant Set of Policy' - what does this mean - are you using group policies? (run gpedit.msc?)

Yes i have seen all these.. i just dont know the steps to make it edit a certain user...instead of all the users (including admin)...How do i go about editing just one user at a time...

I don't think you can do that locally with group policies (haven't investigated putting each user into its own group!..) - I think you need a domain and setting policies there for this. The group policies locally seem to apply in some manner I haven't figured out yet! (probably an MSKB article...)

Ok.. well.. NT has POLEDIT.. without domain... and i know that 2K can do the same.. but they have exiled POLEDIT.. and replaced it with another util. thats more secure...

but i dont know how to use it... and dont know the acuall steps...
