Hi,

My colleague has created a Word 2000 document using Forms with text alongside check boxes and fill-in fields for the user to type in freeform text.

I've tried sending it to myself and can complete it fine.

The document will be e-mailed to various people using Outlook 2000. We want them to be able to complete the form on screen and e-mail it back, quickly and easily - how do we do this?

Regards,
Jay/UK

Hi,

Thanks - that helps us to send the document to recipients.

Can you help us with how recipients can complete the document and quickly and easily return it to the sender by e-mail?

Regards,
Jay/UK

I think you might want to try the "Route a document" feature... also found File, Send to, Routing Recipient.

You can set up a list of whom you want to review the doc, and in what order. After all the recipients have reviewed the document, it will be returned to you.

The Help feature details how to set it up... it's pretty easy!

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I think I should have explained exactly what the document is - sorry!

It's a questionnaire we want to e-mail to our customers, for them to fill in on the screen and then return by e-mail with their answers completed (in the form of checkboxes and fill-in fields). The primary goal is to make it a doddle for them to fill in and send back.

I do hope this is clear, and that you can assist me.

Regards,
Jay/UK

[tt]I don't understand... You mean, your recipients don't know how to save the file and forward it back to you?

Hi,

We want them to be able to click on a link in the document to e-mail the document back to us, to a specific e-mail address.

If we put a link in the document for the e-mail address, that just starts a blank e-mail, but we want the actual document e-mailed to that address - can we do this?

Regards,
Jay/UK
