Hi: I have Windows Xp Pro Sp1 Machine all current updates to Sp1,when I go on The Explorer and try to open a movie say from msn, the media player opens, plays the commercial ok,then pops up Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Error in URLMON.Dll Mod 6.0.2800.1572 App 6.0.2800.1106?? Any clue on a fix for this? Thanks for any Idea's

Do I Have any other choice? There's no fix for this msn video player on the explorer 6 with Sp1?

There are probably ways to fix the error. I was more interested in why you'd want to run SP1 when there are many fixes & improvements with SP2.

Start with this and test. If the problem still exists, then move on to this, but heed the warning.

ok Smah,I Tried this still no go.The reason I did not install Sp2 is because,I tried it quite a while back and had all kinds of problems with the games I have installed, running them ect,and with the network.I have 3 computers on a home network, they all work fine.I installed sp2 on 1 of them and it could no longer see the network,I tried everything, and finaly gave up and went back to Sp1,with all available updates, and have not had any problems till now,I also still run Netscape for my wife, whats Sp2 going to do to that?? I don't know,I guess I'm just afraid to do the Sp2 thing..Maybe it's time, and it's been improved since the last time I updated it,and I should try it again?..How's this IE7 on Sp2??. Can I still keep Netscape 7.2 or do I need to trash it?
Thankyou for all The Help.
