I am trying to kill bpbkar32.exe as the prcess is hung. I have tried kill anmd pskill without any success. I am getting error 41 on my backups which implies that the bpbkar32.exe is hung. I had selected 'rety OTM' in order to fix a backup issue and now I am stuck with this hung process. The server runs 24X7 so a reboot is a remote option now. Any ideas?

Yes, change your server reboot policy because the only way to get rid of these is to reboot Windows machines. Solaris is nice and lets you kill them.
