I know this is more of a "my laptop is Fu%^ed" issue than a IP Office issue but I'm hoping one of you Avaya experts might have a solution for me. I'm trying to update the version of VM Pro Client on my laptop. I "uninstalled" the previous version, but when I try to either VM Pro Client 10 or 11 I get a choice of Modify, Repair, or Remove radio buttons. No matter which option I choose I receive the following error - Error 1605: 'This action is only valid for products that are currently installed'
I've Googled this error and it sounds line a registry error. The only thing I know about editing the registry is how to type Regedit and that's it. If anyone knows how to fix this without reinstalling my OS (WIN 10) I would appreciate it.

This error code is not specific to the VMPRO client, but is actually being generated by the MS installer (this error can occur with any product, Avaya or otherwise).
(The likely cause is a Registry Key on InstallShield which was not properly removed).

Try an uninstaller:
