I'm trying to install a TN799 C-LAN card. I have taken the other steps but don't have an option to "change ip-services" or "change ip-interface".

I can ping the switch successfully but can't get the site administrator to connect.

any suggestions?

I cant remember what release exatly that started to support site administrator but I think it was 9.
There is a work around using the aux port on a cisco router.
If you do a search on this site you will find it.

Are you trying to use the clan card for telnet access for switch admin? If so it is release 9 when "ip-services" become available. I use a program called IPComserver on a Windows PC to provide multiple serial ports for switch, Audix, etc. control via telnet. You can inexpensively add telnet access on earlier releases this way.

Only from 9.05 the SAT entry was added to the config.
On release 8 and early 9 releases, the board could only be used to do IP trunking(in combination with a Medpro board).

One of the many PBXs I access is a G3Vr6. To gain lan connectivity through ASA, we installed a Lantronics UDS-10 worth approx $150.00 cdn.

The only function supported by the C-LAN v=board in a G3V7 is adjunct connectivity (CMS/AUDIX).
