My problem is this: We are using a program written in vb3 that uses Crystal Reports for reports,letters,etc. The vb3 program does not require you to have CR installed to print or view reports. With the vb3 program when you view a report on the screen you have the option of exporting it to a different file format such as Word,Excel,etc.
When CR7 and below is installed on the same computer with the vb3 program, there are many different formats available to choose from when exporting.
It seems with CR8 and above installed the formats for exporting are very limited.
We are looking for a way to get those other format options for exporting to be available without having to install CR7. Looking thru the fourms it looks as if I need to find and add the correct dll's onto the computer that has the vb3 program and CR8.
Does anyone know what files or dll's I need and where I would place them?
